- Safety Program Installation
We can help you set up and maintain an effective safety program. This would include installation of the written program (including regulatory issues such as lock-out/tag-out, hazardous communication procedures, fall protection procedures, safety checklists, forklift training, etc.,), as well as formation of your safety committee. - Certificate of Insurance Collection
We can set up a program to collect and maintain certificates of insurance from all of your sub-contractors. This will insure that they maintain adequate insurance coverage of their own so that claims are handled by their insurance carrier, not yours, and that payrolls and sales are included in their insurance premiums and not yours. - Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) Program
We can order and maintain on an annual basis driving records of all operators or potential operators of your company vehicles. This can be used as an effective loss control method when hiring new employees. Our normal turnaround time on a request for an MVR is twenty-four (24) hours. - Twenty-Four Hour a Day, Seven Day per Week Agency Claims Service
Via our automated telephone system at (847) 392-8585 Extension 8000. - Assignment of a Dedicated Customer Service Agent
In our office (with backup) to handle the day-to-day servicing of your needs in a timely manner, including same-day issuance of certificates of insurance. - Contract Review
(Construction, permit, lease of premises, etc.) to insure that all insurance requirements are met. This can prevent gaps in coverage and uninsured losses. - Building Insurance Appraisal Program
In conjunction with Insurance Appraisal Corporation, we have established a program to have insurance replacement cost appraisals done for our clients at a 10% reduction from their normal fee schedule. With your permission, we will order the appraisal and have Insurance Appraisal Corporation invoice you for the initial fee. When the completed appraisal is received, we will incorporate the appraisal value into your insurance program and provide you with free annual updates for as long as you are our client. This will take all the guess work out of establishing proper values and make sure you are adequately covered and not paying too much for your insurance. - Quarterly Agency Newsletters
Designed to provide you with up-to-date valuable information on insurance and insurance-related topics. - Pro-Active Service Program
We take a Pro Active rather than a reactive posture in the entire handling of your insurance program. This includes the establishment of a service call program including a six month coverage review and formal annual renewal review (these are not sales calls). This program allows us to make cost- and risk-reducing recommendations whenever possible, provide you with our Solutions and Best Options well in advance of your renewal, and to provide extensive use of insurance company coverage forms, endorsements, and deductibles designed to make the handling of your insurance as easy as possible and eliminate common coverage gaps whenever possible. - Mock OSHA Inspection
We will conduct an inspection to see how you would hold up under a real OSHA inspection. Avoid the fines before they happen. We can also help with implementation of recommendations. - Illinois Contractors Premium Adjustment Program
Assistance in completion of forms and follow-through to make sure proper credit is applied to the policy. Annual Check of Worker’s Compensation Experience Modification Worksheet: Correction and follow-through on errors, if any. - Ease of Doing Business Program
Allows you time to concentrate on your business while we handle your insurance. Summary of Insurance, Policy Delivery Binders with Pre-Printed Service Forms, Certificate of Insurance – same day service in 90% of cases, 99% within twenty-four (24) hours and Workers Compensation Experience Modification Verification - Agency Marketing of Your Insurance Program
To keep pace with changes and needs of your company as well as changes in the insurance industry.
We look at all the risks faced by the client and develop ways to reduce or eliminate those risks– regardless of whether insurance is part of the solution. J. Krug & Associates is dedicated to servicing the needs of commercial insurance accounts, their owner/principals and employees. We consider the dollars you spend on your insurance program to be as much of an investment as any other you make in your business and treat them accordingly.
Risk…
The possibility of danger, injury, loss, etc. // the possibility of loss in the case of goods covered by an insurance policy // the probability of such loss // hazard to run or take risk to expose oneself or be exposed to danger, injury, loss, etc.
Manage…
To exercise control over // to handle, manipulate // to influence // to be able to cope with a situation
Let’s face it…
the best accident is the one that didn’t happen.
There are three ways to handle risk:
- Avoid it!
- Transfer it!
- Insure it!
Our DreamKeeper Asset Management & Protection Program is designed to figure out what measure of these three strategies should be implemented.
Value-Added Services
During the second phase of DreamKeeper we conduct a thorough review of your company’s risk management practices, insurance programs and company policies and procedures using unique survey and facility hazard inspection forms which we developed. We, ultimately, use the information generated at our Plan Development meetings to design an Insurance and Risk Management Program specifically for your company. We then compare your current program to the one we have developed to aide us in the implementation of your Plan.
Plan Development Survey Meetings are a top to bottom review of your Insurance and Risk Management strategies and tactics including…
- Review of all physical assets
- Review of financial statements
- Review of contracts used with clients and vendors
- Review of current insurance contracts
- Review of employee drivers
- Review of Business Interruption exposures
- Review of company literature and website
- Review of employee classifications
- Review and inspection of facility for exposures to loss
- Review of written safety programs, policies and procedures
- Review premium and loss history
