Benefits Sales Associate Position

We work with our clients and prospects to deliver risk reducing strategies and products. As a Benefits Sales Associate your role will serve a Client Management Team.  This function assists the organization with on-boarding new and prospective clients, as well as, retaining current clients.  This includes delivering creative ideas to solve multifaceted problems, all while continuously maintaining high personal integrity for customer service.

Typical Duties Include

  • Annual Client Renewal Review at Client Facing and/or Webinar Meetings
  • Employee/Employer On-Site and Webinar Enrollment Meetings
  • Communication with existing customers to maintain strong customer relationships, and deliver periodic information such as seminars, important news, wellness, etc.
  • Assist Benefits Director with new application processing reviews
  • Assist Benefits Director to prepare/negotiate carrier quotes and proposal documents
  • Assist Benefits Director with Customer Enrollment Meetings
  • Assist team with day-to-day customer requests

Qualifications/Preferred Skills

  • Experience in a business support function
  • Confidence to work with customer’s executive leadership
  • Strong interpersonal and business communication skills; in-person, over-the-phone, in-writing
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of software programs
  • Ability and desire to learn new software programs
  • Ability and desire to learn insurance concepts, products
  • Ability and desire to continuously develop professional skills by earning relevant licenses, certifications, and/or designations
  • Desire to build relationships with customers and fellow employees
  • Self-motivated, detail oriented, critical thinker
  • Good organization and time-management skills
  • Ability and desire to work independently or with a team
